The CSM Technician App gives every tech their own mobile workspace. Clock in and out on individual labor lines, track job progress, update concerns and tech notes, run inspections, and scan VINs — all from the phone, without ever touching the desktop. The app shows only the jobs assigned to that technician so there's no noise from other work.

• Dashboard shows assigned Repair Orders and open inspection count
• Repair order list filtered to jobs assigned to this technician — no clutter from other techs
• Clock in and clock out on individual labor lines with a running elapsed-time display
• Active clock-in banner shows across the app so the tech always knows what they're on
• Scan any VIN barcode to look up the vehicle and jump to assigned open jobs instantly
• RO view with four tabs: Details, Concerns, Labor, and Parts
• Add, edit, and delete concerns and labor lines with catalog and preset pickers
• Update tech stage (Not Started, In Progress, Waiting Parts, Done) per labor line
• Start, continue, or review a Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) directly from the RO
• Parts list shows status (Needed, Ordered, Received, Installed) so the tech knows what's available

Expand any labor line assigned to the tech and tap Clock In. The app tracks time against that specific line and shows a live elapsed timer at the top of the RO. When the work is done, tap Clock Out — time is recorded and ready for payroll and billing review. Only one clock-in is allowed at a time; the app prevents conflicting entries.

Android (Chrome): Open the tech login URL in Chrome and add it to the home screen from the three-dot menu → Add to Home Screen.

iPhone / iPad (Safari): Open the tech login URL in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
