Granular control over who can do what

CSM uses a role-based permission system that puts you in control of every sensitive action in the shop. Define roles — Technician, Advisor, Parts Manager, Owner — and assign each one a precise set of permissions. Staff members inherit the permissions of their role, and you can adjust them individually when needed.

Permissions cover every module in the system: who can open a Repair Order, who can set prices, who can view financial totals, who can approve labor, who can access reports. You define the rules; CSM enforces them automatically.
