Everything an advisor needs — without leaving the service drive

The CSM Advisor App is a mobile PWA that gives service advisors a complete repair order workspace on their phone. Walk up to a vehicle, scan the VIN, pull up the open RO, update the stage, and start an inspection — all without going back to the desk. Installs to the home screen on any phone, no App Store required.

VIN scanner

Tap Scan in the bottom navigation, point the camera at the VIN barcode (on the dashboard, door jamb, or registration), and CSM identifies the vehicle instantly. If the vehicle is already in the system, open repair orders appear immediately so the advisor can tap straight into the right job. If the VIN is not on file, NHTSA decodes the year, make, and model and pre-populates the add-vehicle form.

Inspection workflow

The advisor opens any RO and taps Start Inspection to begin a Digital Vehicle Inspection. If an inspection is already in progress a banner links straight to it; completed inspections show a green “View Results” button with the sent date if they have already been delivered to the customer.

Installing the Advisor App

Android (Chrome): Open the advisor login URL in Chrome. Chrome will prompt to add it to the home screen after the first login, or the advisor can tap the three-dot menu → Add to Home Screen at any time.

iPhone / iPad (Safari): Open the advisor login URL in Safari. Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. The app opens full-screen from the home screen icon after that.
